In the tradition of memento mori pieces Victoria's recent work is an exploration of the colour and beauty of be found in the decaying remnants of her garden capturing a moment in the fleeting nature of life. Reminding us that there is beauty in all things, she had drawn our attention to something we might overlook or dismiss as unpleasant by focusing our eye on the form and colour than randomly occurs in the natural cycles of life.
